Wings and Wheels cruising last night
We took the white Buick down to Varberg last evening to see the cruising. It seemed like a tropical night, very warm and very unusual up here in Scandinavia.
It was getting dark when we came to Varberg so the pics are not as good as I want them to be. Still, here they are... http://i436.photobucket.com/albums/q...tte2008004.jpg http://i436.photobucket.com/albums/q...0-07-16002.jpg http://i436.photobucket.com/albums/q...0-07-16006.jpg You donīt see too many lowriders over here, but there are some. http://i436.photobucket.com/albums/q...0-07-16008.jpg If Charley had been here I believe he would have come in something like this. I donīt know if this was a Heinkel or Messerschmitt but itīs usually one of those two. http://i436.photobucket.com/albums/q...0-07-16013.jpg http://i436.photobucket.com/albums/q...0-07-16019.jpg |
Re: Wings and Wheels cruising last night
There where few musclecars cruising around but they where still there. You just had to look for them parked nearby.

On special request by my friend Hans from Hyltebruk, a couple of pics of the Bel Air cruisemobile he bought in Long Island.

Thanks Anders. Looks like everyone was having fun! I like the DY Camaro too - looks good with the flat hood! Short sleeves and short trousers - WOW - what was the temp?

Re: Wings and Wheels cruising last night
Sam, we had around 70 degrees Farenheit when we came home after midnight. Up here it usually drops to between 50 and 60 after midnight in the summer.
I never thought about the hood. I guess the guy built that car the way he wanted it, stripes and all. |
