Can anyone identify this intake manifold for a BB?
The only identifying mark on this oval port intake is 75C5 or 7505?
All identifying marks on top are gone...and these are cell phone pics, sorry! Thanks for any help http://i19.photobucket.com/albums/b1...00610-1948.jpg http://i19.photobucket.com/albums/b1...00610-1948.jpg http://i19.photobucket.com/albums/b1...00610-1948.jpg http://i19.photobucket.com/albums/b1...00610-1949.jpg http://i19.photobucket.com/albums/b1...00610-1949.jpg http://i19.photobucket.com/albums/b1...00610-1949.jpg |

Looks like an old Edelbrock C396

Here is a C396. http://victorylibrary.com/graphics/C396.jpg Looks like the deep and shallow sides of the plenums are reversed. The C396 would have runners that are a little closer to equal length perhaps.

----No runners in the bottom of the plenum either. That is a puzzling intake. No choke stove as well.......Bill S

It figures...LOL This was on Gary's Camaro when he first bought it...it's much taller than the stock intake A Holley 850 DP was on it as well... |
Re: Can anyone identify this intake manifold for a BB?
It's an old Weiand. A friend has the Rectangle port version and it looks absolutely identical on top. Chevrolet and Edelbrock dual plane manifolds used the same plenum/runner configuration while Weiand went off on their own and did their own strange dual plane runner configuration like this one.
