Corbin or Tower Clamps on a 1960 Impala?

Does anyone know when Chevrolet began to use tower clamps for the upper and lower radiator hoses? I have conflicting information in my books. I'm specifically interested in the 1960 Imapala. Thanks, Ed

My assembly manual for 1958 Impala shows tower clamps.
