plastic coating for parts

Hello...

Does anybody know if they sell that black plastic coating they used to put on clips for plug wires and on valve covers to prevent tearing or cutting....?

Do you mean Plasti-Dip?
..any local hdwe. store will sell it in a variety of colors.
