1968 turbo 400 dip stick tube help needed?

Looking for a little help with a 68 turbo 400 dip stick tube? Has anyone bought one recently and had good luck with it not leaking. I bought a chrome tube off e-bay with an O- ring, when the O-ring is installed in the groove it wouldn’t fit into the hole.(It just slid up the tube like the groove wasn’t deep enough) I tried a smaller O-ring and got it to fit but it is still going to leak I think. Don’t really want to take a chance. Does anyone have a picture I can reference it to? Any help would be appreciated.

Jason

Go to a dealer and buy a dipstick tube and seal for a 1990 Chevy Truck with a Turbo 400. The tube will be a little longer than a car but you can cut easily cut it down to car size and use your car dipstick. This 90's dipstick tube uses a longer rubber sleeve instead of an O-ring and works much better.
