Re: jack hold down

No, it's placed underneath the spare, and the spare is held with a hooked all-thread through the center of the wheel and through the jack base. A large wing nut tightens everything.

Re: jack hold down

If using a space saver spare the jack and lug wrench go over the top of the space saver. This is according to page 136 of the assembly manual. On the next page it shows the normal full sized spare with the jack going under it just like Gary said.

Anyone know who repops the rubber straps that hold the lug wrench to the jack? Doing a space saver setup so the jack/lug wrench kinda stands out in that application. I'm not talking about the bag thing, but the two straps illustrated in the assembly manual.

I would check with Rick's First Generation Camaro. Also possibly Classic Industries and Ground Up. Also one of our sponsors D&R Camaro.

Been looking in the D&R or Classic catalogs, will dig up the others and see. We order most stuff from D&R since the shop has a discount there and they are easy to work with.
