Car looks like it needs lots of work to me. Those cars are nightmares to restore and I think he's a little too cocky for a guy who has a car with the engine apart and rust issues. You will have way too much in that car by the time your done. my buddy just sold a 74 super duty 4 speed car on ebay that needs the same work for 30k. those are 2 completely different animals. A 73 4 speed car is a nice one to get but you can get one real nice for around 25-30k. JMHO https://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/imag...lins/beers.gif

I agree with Howard Johnson! (Obscure Blazing Saddles reference here https://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/imag...mlins/grin.gif)

Yeah, that's no bargain since it will cost another $50 grand to get it done properly and it wont be worth half that amount when finished when you add in the original purchase price.

I always love how the sellers imply that it will be such an easy resto job.

Well, if it was that easy why didn't you do it and then keep all that profit for yourself! https://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/imag...mlins/hmmm.gif

[/ QUOTE ] I think Im pretty well qualified Bill as Ive been restoring these cars when nobody wanted them. Steve has done a great job with his car but I think this is his first Pontiac he's done and he will probably tell you best that they are some of the hardest cars to restore the right way. https://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/imag...ns/worship.gif
