Rarity and high quality are just two items on a long list of features that make this 1969 Camaro Z28 an exceptionally desirable example of Chevy’s Trans Am champion. Rare, thanks in part to the unique combination of Olympic Gold paint with White vinyl roof and Sport stripes, and high quality thanks to a complete rotisserie restoration done to Concours standards. This late production X33 D80 code car has the correct DZ 302 CI solid lifter engine with Cross Ram intake and carburetor package, the original A.I.R. smog controls, fiberglass cowl induction hood, and of course a close ratio 4-speed spinning a 3.73 Posi rear end.

The handsome Parchment-and-Black Custom interior includes a console with gauges and an 8,000 RPM tach, while the exterior is accented with the Style Group trim package and spoilers front and rear. A beautifully restored Z28 with many very desirable touches, it also includes the original window sticker.

Highlights:

- Rotisserie restoration to concours condition
- Late production X33 D80 code car
- Correct DZ 302 CI solid lifter engine
- GM Cross Ram intake and carburetor package
- Fiberglass Cross Ram cowl induction hood
- Original A.I.R. smog system
- Close ratio 4-speed transmission
- 12 bolt positraction rearend with 3.73 ratio
- Olympic Gold with White stripes
- Front and rear spoilers
- Style trim group
- Rally wheels with Goodyear wide oval GT tires
- Special interior package with console
- 8000 rpm tach and console gauges
- Original window sticker

Maybe you're preference would be 'original' paint. https://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/imag...emlins/eek.gif https://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/imag...emlins/eek.gif

The pictures don't do the car justice, it was at Indy and I couldn't take my eyes off of it. It is very pretty and I never would have thought I would have liked that color combination. The window sticker looks good, I couldn't see the stamping on the block. I also have no idea who owns it, but I don't remember it selling at Indy.

Kind of reminds me of this car in the Lingenfelter collection. I believe he picked this one up at BJ Scotsdale a couple of years ago. Beautiful resto with piles of paperwork. Maybe the same restorer/owner?
