Valve cover decal

I put the Crane valve covers on my El Camino a few months ago, and never got a new sticker. This is a typical repro sticker. Opinions? Does it look too long? The white around the sticker is just the backing, which isn't removed yet.

Re: Valve cover decal

I have seen both long and short. Most of the long ones were used in 70. Ranges from 1 3/4 " to 2 1/2". Probably prepping for three letter codes. Also could have been a Engine plant difference.

Back then they were just stickers used until the engine made it into the car. No big deal if the came in different size, not like they would have send them back.

If anything I would be more concerned about the font shape and size.

Thanks guys. Rich Recupero is a good friend. He's making me a new sticker. I asked him to print me one before I found this one, I'd bought a while back. I didn't use it at the time because I thought it looked too big/long. I'll use the one Rich is making. Thanks again.
