These pictures are of my old '70 Camaro that another member now owns. Nothing too wild, but a nice set of day-2 wheels/tires. I was running Kelsey Hayes Stripper wheels (15x6) and Mickey Thompson Indy Profile redlines.

Re: picture request 1970 -71 camaro street machines
I've always thought that L-88 hoods looked really natural on those 2ND Generation Camaros. Kick that idea around. I'd love to build a '70 Camaro street machine that closely resembles an early-70's Pro Stocker! Big 'ol Dana 60 under the rear, jacked up in the back to clear some big rear meats, a set of Motor Wheel Flys (which I have sitting in my living room right now!), tunnel ram with twin 660's......you get the message!

You want one of those Street Machines featured in Car Craft during the 70's. Side pipes, N50's on deep dish rims..Whale tale...LOVE THAT LOOK....

Re: picture request 1970 -71 camaro street machines
When I was in high school ('76 - '80) I used to have a few special edition magazines that I think were put together by Car Craft; they were titled "Street Freaks" and featured all kinds of cars modified like what you're looking for. If you could pick up a copy at a swap meet you'd have pages and pages of ideas.
