Cylinder Wall Thickness

Can anyone tell me what an acceptable cylinder wall thickness for a Big Block Chevy would be? I have a 396 that has been bored to a 427/454. The block was sonic tested and the results are as shown. Is this acceptable?

Thanks,

Jason https://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/imag...lins/beers.gif

I'd have to agree that .078 is too thin. Take a feeler gauge out and look at that thickness. YEOW!

I thought so too. Just curious how thin is too thin?

Thanks,
