Hood release latch plating

I know that the hood release latch for a 70 Chevelle is a dark phosphate gray. How about the hood release pull lever just above the license plate and the 2 springs that are part of the latch mechanism? Not sure what color or finish they are supposed to be? Thanks in advance.
