Drag strips around Council Bluffs, Iowa in mid 60s
 

I am looking for the names/locations of the drag strips around Council Bluffs, Iowa and the area back around 1966 through 1970. I am doing some research on a car I own that was raced in that area. Your help is greatly appreciated.

I think Scribner, NE was in operation in the late 60's.

I have an old NHRA drag strip locator manual (go figure, huh?! https://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/imag...ins/tongue.gif ) in the showcase...I'll dig it out & scan some pages for ya.

Don't forget about Thunder Valley near Marion South Dakota.Those of us in the midwest west arn't afaid to travel a couple hunred miles to race.
