Shift boot trim plate

Is the shift boot trim plate all chrome or black & chrome on 68-72 Chevy Novas w/o console and bench seats?

It's a two piece system. The bottom piece is black and the top piece that screws to that is chrome. This is what i have on my two original Novas and both are rubber mat cars.

Steve, I took the question as to what color is the part that is visible and mine is chrome. Its a chrome trim that fits around the boot with chrome screws.

Definitely chrome, regardless of floor covering.
