I don't think I have ever seen a set of those before.

they were an option on all Camaros (RS or not) from 70-72

~ 1600-70, 1300-71 & 2400-72 were made per year of BOTH versions (full bumper and RS)

so, yes they are pretty unusual. The ones we have listed have the hard to find ribber strip, the other portion is missing off both for whatever reason ... https://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/imag...lins/frown.gif

I knew that option was available, I just have never seen that option on RS bumperettes.

Jim, I MAY have the only known 70 L-78 Camaro with VF-3 bumpers.

There are many VF-3 owners looking for misc rubber pieces to make up a show worthy set. It is very rare to see any of the rubber pieces that arent cosmetically damaged.

They WERE the part that was supposed to absorb and minor "bumps" as designed ...

remember back on the GTO commercials when John Z was wacking the nose with a huge crow bar?

then in 73 when the Grand Am had the "memory" nose?

You were SUPPOSED to bump into things with them to "prove" their worth ...

I did with a company owned 73 GTO when I worked at Pontiac way back then ... in fact almost everyone would pull the cars up to a light pole just to "test" the bumper shocks ... https://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/imag...ns/shocked.gif
