I HAVE A NOS 163 INTAKE IT IS CORRECT IN APPEARANCE BUT IS SERVICE DATED FROM 1983. THIS IS A HARD TO FIND PIECE THAT WILL COMPLIMENT ANY RESTORATION.I WILL TAKE 999.00 FOR IT. CHECK IT OUT IN MY EBAY STORE. THANKS KEITH 419-733-7415

no you did not miss any thing.Other than the fact that part will bolt on it is not correct for any resto purpose.The appearance is not the same.The winters mark is way different than the originals and it is in a different place.The firing order cast into it is way different as well.These are not hard to find at all and has been available over the counter for years.They usually sell on ebay for $150-$250

I have one that is dated 1984 that I bought of the Bay for $175.Thinking that I was buying an original.I will sell it for the same money,LOL

Did you even look at the auction before posting? The intake looks like the right style to me. I agree about the fact that there is another style 163 intake that is totally different. This one looks to be the early design to me. Can you explain?

This intake looks correct to me also..snowflake is in the correct place..the other service intakes have the snowflake on the top infront of the carb..this is a nice piece..buy one one ebay for 175.00 to 250.00 and then glass beaded and possibly fix all the stripped holes..not to mention the finish when youre done wont look as good.
