Mr. Clean Magic Eraser. Go to Sam's Club, Costco or BJ's and get the industrial strength and size carton.

Haven't tried the Eraser. In years past have used Soft Scrub w/ Bleach and a stiff-bristled brush.

Eraser made the orig white vinyl top on the RS ZL1 look amazing.

I don't have a Vinyl top..But I have kids, and a Magic Eraser...My wife uses them for everything. Crayon on the wall, scuff marks on the wood floor...they work well.

Re: Cleaning Convertible Tops

Thanks for all the help guys... I found an interesting "coctail mix" of stuff that actually worked very well... The top was quite dirty.. I used Blue Coral heavy duty carpet and upholestry cleaner mixed with Scrubbing Bubbles bath cleaner. After spraying I let them sit for about 2-3 minutes (NOT IN THE SUN). I then scrubbed both of these in the top with a brush, then used a soaking wet sponge to wipe off the soap and dirt. Then I used the Magic Eraser industrial strength and wiped over the area that I scrubbed and it came out like brand new.. After everything was clean I soaked and wiped the top down with Vinylex. I also found that 3M makes a rubber and vinyl cleaner that I found at a West Marine Boating Store and is primarily used for boats that actually works well also in place of the Vinylex...

I have to say though, the Magic Eraser was the ticket but it did not work that well until after I scrubbed the top first with the Blue Coral and Scrubbing Bubbles.... I think the top was just that dirty..

Thanks again........Rich https://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/imag...lins/beers.gif
