Wheel applications, decoding and value

Hey guys,

Was wondering if you could give me some insight as to the original applications, values and date decoding of the following wheels.

1) 15x7 inch "JJ" wheels (set of four)
2) 14x7 inch "YJ" wheels (single wheel)
3) 14x7 inch "YA" mag (single wheel)

Many thanks!
-Dan

Re: Wheel applications, decoding and value

Dan, YJ is for 69 Camaro, nova SS rally, YA is a the 5 spoke version and includes Chevelle. Th JJ is not in my book, that sounds like the code for the rim, not the wheel. Wheel codes are next to the valve stem.

What is the date for the YJ? I am looking for 1 from a specific date.

I think JJ signifies the rim contour of the wheel???

Thanks for the help guys!

I think the JJ wheels are actually KW or FW? I don't even know where they came from... https://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/imag...mlins/hmmm.gif

Dan
Does it look like it could be a YW possibly?..A local friend with a 70 Malibu is looking for a set of those.
FW was the rally used throughout 1971-76 Monte C.& 73-76 Chevelle.
Never seen a KW..
