#3969854 402 4-Bolt 'CE' Block
 

1971 L78 service replacement block, correct warranty block through 1968 model year, just back from the machine shop where it was cleaned, magged, and bored +0.040" with new freeze plugs and cam bearings. No sleeves, welding, etc.... The reserve is $1400. I had this block for sale last year at the same price, but after having it inspected I decided to have it completely gone through. Thanks for looking!

Just to clarify, the block was cast in December 70 and the deck was stamped in 1971.
