Re: Correct coil for '70 LT1?
Jack Seymour ROCKS!!!!!!!!!!!!
If his Camaro doesnt go down as the most documented photographed 70 Z in history...... No other 70 Z owner has ever acheived what Jack has in terms of photographing, cleaning, detailing of a survivor 70 Z. In spite of Charleys teriffic, ultra low milage Z, Jack's car has more appeal to me, as it better demonstrates how it left the factory.........(with out all the undercoat) |

When I did my 70 Z28, I bought a 270 from Goat Hill. Wasn't too much money, if I remember correctly.

Re: Correct coil for '70 LT1?
You have no guarantee that a coil from Goat Hill has internals that match the externals. Generic coils that are "re-canned".
If you roll the car in and out of the trailer-OK, but if you drive the car, find an original that passes the primary and secondary resistance checks. Verne https://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/imag...mlins/flag.gif |
