Re: Barrett Jackson or Russo & Steele???

barret jackson = no reserve plus 10% on both sides I think.
Russo Steele has a reserve but not as many people bidding or the hype of BJ. In todays market I wouldnt take the chance with BJ or waste my time and money at russo. Just my opinion. The people at russo treated us really good they just dont have the volume of cars or people to match BJ. but the way things are right now no way would I put my car up with no reserve. Maybe a couple years ago...
just my opinion.... Keech

I don't have the cajones to put a car across BJ https://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/imag...emlins/eek.gif. Their no reserve policy is finally going to start biting them IMO. R & S is reserve ONLY and I believe will draw the quality, less issues cars. More importantly, the trend over the last couple years is that if you want a higher percentage of muscle and higher quality muscle, go to R & S. Judging from what R & S has so far this year, that trend is continuing. R & S has done a couple of things to address customer concerns this year: 1. All cars have VINs listed prior to the auction so those who want to can perform due diligence via research, 2. if your car sells you get your listing fee back.

Your car sounds nice. What color/options/docs?

BTW - Dave (ngtflyr) and I are putting a '70 'cuda across the block at Russo & Steele https://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/imag...lins/beers.gif

8 cars at Russo and Steele none at BJ. I can't afford the no-Reserve Risk. We have a '70 Hemi 'çuda for sale there too.

Have you tried to do a individual sale yet? Have you advertised it anywhere, like here or the Team Chevelle site?
