Check out this guy's Deora project...pretty cool cheap fun so far!. Project Deora.. http://www.hotrodders.com/forum/journal....&reverse=1/ The original Deora http://www.motortrend.com/classic/ro...ora/index.html https://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/imag...ns/burnout.gif ~ Pete |
Re: Dodge Deora replica
Cool https://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/imag...mlins/cool.gif read.....
Sorta reminds me of the 55 Chevy 4 door conversion to a 2 door by moving the pillar back and using doors off a 2 door sedan. http://www.jalopyjournal.com/forum/s...d.php?t=228873 Both projects are definitly labor intensive. https://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/imag...s/headbang.gif |
Re: Dodge Deora replica
Al Davis still owns the real Deora; It was his father’s car and has been a family treasure for almost 40 years.
I talked to Al a few years back he told me it was at the Peterson Museum for the Hot Wheels Display. https://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/imag...ns/worship.gif |

Mark....you know Gavio did alot of work on that project. He took me to Al's garage one day in Moorestown, NJ and I almost died when they opened the garage door and there sat the car that I built the Model of! OMG! https://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/imag...ns/shocked.gif
