What happend to Lemans Blue 1969 Yenko Chevelle?

There used to be a 1969 Lemans Blue white stripe yenko 4spd chevelle in my area (ebensburg, Pa) till the mid late 80s. The guy at that time also had a 1967 sunflower yellow tri-power 4spd vette conv. (went to texas). The chevelle A guy before him owned the car in Barnesboro, Pa. The yenko chevelle and a fathom green yenko camaro were both used in my buddies dads wedding. I know where the camaro is does anyone know of this chevelle.

The Chevelle was bought new by Andy Wolf, I believe the name was. It was at one time orange. It sold to a guy near Ebensburg who sold it to Vince Emme...I owned a FG Camaro and it is in Grove City Pa these days. Maybe you are thinking of another FG Yenko Camaro..BKH

The fathom green yenko camaro that you owned was the one I am referring to. The only one Fathom Green Black stripes. Bought new by Larry Lowe. Then sold to Peter Barczak. My buddies dad (Peter Barczak)gave you some pics of the car when he owned it. Then sold to a guy near Johnstown who you bought it from???The chevelle was owned by a Ray Crawford previous owned by a Jim Terezzi. The fathom green yenko and the Lemans blue yenko chevelle where both used in a wedding. Does anyone have pics of the chevelle today? I remember riding in it when I was kid.

I like the idea that my buddy started this post. My dad had the fathom green yenko camaro that had black stripes. He loved that car!! He sold it when I was born because it wasn't practically anymore. I am now 27 and I have a 69 camaro much like my dad when he was my age. I want to replicate that car as much as possible to experience what my dad did. He gave away all of his pictures of that car to secure the history of it. I want to know who owns that car today just so I can get copies of the pictures that he gave away.

There was a Rich Wolf from Penn Run who owned a blue 69 Yenko chevelle but I don't remember it ever being orange.

The Lemans blue Chevelle from eburg/barnesboro was as far as I know, never orange. I was young so I could be wrong. It was Lemans blue white stripe black interior. This was in the 80's I remember it had yellow Ladder bars on it with cragers. Skinny tires in the front and big ones in the back. It sat real high in the rear. The car was so tough.

I found this car in the Richland area and it had been painted orange at that point. Soon to once again be returned to blue. This is the same car no doubt about it. Ray once again painted it blue and painted on a Yenko stripe without the lettering...BKH

The Lemans Blue 1969 Yenko Chevelle is Alive & Well, residing in Wisconsin... Still turning heads! She travels to the local carshows and cruises.
Enjoyed reading about her previous life and would appreciate learning more history about her.

My dad knows the car well. His buddy Jim owned the car for years. My dad had a 1969 Fathom Green Yenko Camaro at the same time. They raced them both together. When his buddy Jim got married they both used their Yenkos in the wedding. My dad said when the beer started flowing they changed from honking their horns to doing burnouts. He said it was a blast. My dad's Camaro was running 11.70's as a street car in the mid 1970's.

I don't know if its true or not, but my dad remembers Jim saying that he pulled and kept the original motor. That was something that he said fifteen to twenty years ago. Don't know if its true or not.
