I will sell without motor and without wheels/tires to price to be determined. I wil be leaving town on June 22 and not be back till the 4 th of July. I will have limited acess to the internet during that time so call my cell phone. Will take Harley Trade. Thanks SYC [image]http://inlinethumb34.webshots.com/32...500x500Q85.jpg[/image] |

Re: 9600 mile L-78 Nova
Seems to have a68-69 front bumper nota 70. What's up with that? https://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/imag...s/confused.gif
|
Re: 9600 mile L-78 Nova
That's a 70 bumper it's square hole. https://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/imag...iggthumpup.gif
|
Re: 9600 mile L-78 Nova
A 70 bumper should have larger parking lights this car has the 68-69 small parking lights. m
|
Re: 9600 mile L-78 Nova
I just blew it up and loks exactly like a 69-69 not a 70,check it out! Also has an amber lens.
|
Re: 9600 mile L-78 Nova
The parking light holes looked square but the depth is the same as the other holes. Must be the angle of the picture. Now it does look like a 68-69 bumper. Hey take me out and shoot me. https://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/imag...lins/beers.gif

Very nice looking car! Is that the original factory paint, or has it been repainted?
Any more detailed pics - interior, underhood, trunk, SUB-FRAME, etc? What documentation do you have? |

Re: 9600 mile L-78 Nova
Car is going back on ebay less motor, radiator(repo), and wheels/tires. I will use them on my 69. Trans stays with the car. 22,500 will take this car home. This would make for an easy winter project. and dirt cheap. Nova's have become all the rage lately so time to jump now!!!!!
I will list on ebay on tuesday evening or buy it here now. |
Re: 9600 mile L-78 Nova
On Ebay again!!!! Reserve is set at 22,000 minus motor, wheels/tires, and radiator. Steal this car now. I need it gone.

Re: 9600 mile L-78 Nova

Re: 9600 mile L-78 Nova
I keep looking at this car!! and I probably shouldnt even be asking but Whats the paint quality like and body like?
|
Re: 9600 mile L-78 Nova
Body is rust free with three paint inperfections. That being said I would not call it a Hi-End paint job. But it certainly is not a back yard paint job either. To my knowledge it has been painted once since new. The paint is about 10-12 years old. This is not a fluffed restored car by any means. It is an original driven car with 9600 miles.
Hope that answers your question. |
Re: 9600 mile L-78 Nova
Nova 12 bolt....minimum...$1500
Good Muncie Tranny....$750..?? maybe a little more.. Rust free original sheet metal, nice interior, decent paint, no torches or bondo needed..??? easy 15-20k....you guys need a new calculator...this is a bargain. wilma Chris, you can mail me the commission later...if I can't sell my cars I might as well sell yours https://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/imag...ins/tongue.gif |

Re: 9600 mile L-78 Nova
Chris, does the buildsheet show that it came with the l-78 option? what other docs do you have? Is the glass, interior, chrome and all of those things original?
|
Re: 9600 mile L-78 Nova
What I have is technically a broadcast sheet and no it does not show L-78 on it as none did in 1970 for novas. Other paperwork includes numerous insurance cards, parts receipts, state registrations, and State inspections showing motor size. This paperwork and the car stand on the fact that it is an l-78 car. Glass is original, Interior has had a headliner and front seat covers, carpet as far as I can tell. All the chrome is original. The front bumper is a 1969. I have a 1970 NOS GM bumper for the car. All previous owners are still around. I also have copys of most of the titles
