Re: '72 GTO 455 HO WW5
Thanks for the comments, FWIW, the color is called Shadow Gold and is the original color.
It always draws the lady's eyes at the local shows...https://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/imag...ns/naughty.gif Mike |
Re: '72 GTO 455 HO WW5
Selling the WW5 after all that detail work, Mike?
You did one fantastic job on it, it's gorgeous! Something new on the way to fill that garage space? Good luck with the sale, my friend. I hope it finds a good home. |
Re: '72 GTO 455 HO WW5
is this the same paint code as shadow grey? https://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/imag...lins/drool.gif
|
Re: '72 GTO 455 HO WW5
Paint Code 55 According to the Pontiac Website. No Crossover to a Chevelle Code.

Re: '72 GTO 455 HO WW5
Boy Mike,
That's a Beauty but the Mrs says either the Station wagon or My Torino GT has to go, before I can get a GOAT, again. Here's one I had before. (unverified as Real, but restored in the 80's by Dan Jensen and Scott T acccording to what I knew at the time. I love your Grey one. http://i101.photobucket.com/albums/m...gto_sw_006.jpg http://i101.photobucket.com/albums/m...gto_sw_009.jpg Real or Not it was FUN and it Had a 3rd Seat. Daddy gonna Drag to the Supermarket. I'm a Wagon kind of guy. https://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/imag...ins/3gears.gif |
Re: '72 GTO 455 HO WW5
Mike,
I also passed along your info to a Guy I know who might be interested. He has Nothing to sell right now. Just Loves GTO's. Good Luck Selling RICH. . . |
Re: '72 GTO 455 HO WW5
Rich, thanks for the comments, I've heard of and looked at pictures of that wagon but never saw it in person.
The 455 D port motor was the largest engine available in wagons (no HO). Still, a killer car w/T41 nose!. https://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/imag...iggthumpup.gif Mike |
