Fall Vette-Fest 68-70 HiPo Nova Display
 

It has never before happened at Vette-Fest, but that will all change on the weekend of November 22-23 2008. The first ever 1968-70 High-Performance Nova Special Display will be one of the feature attractions. Bob Ashton and Chevy Vette Fest along with the help of the Supercar Registry, The Yenko Deuce Registry and Super Car Workshop welcome all owners of 68-70 Hipo Novas to attend. From bone stock survivors, dedicated restorations, to authentic vintage drag Novas. Whats lurking in your garage? Its time to show Vette-Fest your Nova. From SS350 to SS396's, Gibb COPO's, Yenkos/SC and Deuces. I know there are Nova owners out there that have been waiting for just this showcase. So spread the word and let's do the Nova owners and enthusiasts proud. Can we get all the Deuce colors?,how about all four Gibb Nova colors while we are at it. I have to say that this would be one awsome show! I might have to plan some vacation time to get to this one! Would one of my Nova's fall under the dedicated restorations category, or would it have to be something HI PO or SS?

Dennis,My car could be in the car corral not the show lane.Pictures are very decieving.Our car has rust and bondo issues.But maybe when it's restoe'd I would very much like to be invited to a Vettefest with it.For now I will be a spectator.If we can afford the fuel to bring it to SCR11 you will see what I am talking about.If it was a show worthy car I would be all over it.

By all means bring the car. When we pitched the idea of a Nova Showcase It was never meant to exclude anyone, but just like the LS6 Showcase, its had to be an LS6. Since the Novas have never had there own Showcase at VF we all felt that 68-70 SS/COPO platform cars were the ones that should be displayed in the Showcase. Why not make it 68-72 novas???? I know that 71 an 72 Nova SS's are not HIPO novas,but are somewhat of a muscle car.I have a nice original 72SS cranberry red, bench seat,rubber floor and a 4spd. that would be a nice addition to your display.

Any member who would like to attend Fall Chevy Vettefest and for whatever reason is not included in the either the special showcases ('69 Z and Hi-Po Nova) is more then welcome to be part of the sYc showcase. You will receive all of the same perks and get to hang out with some really neat folks.
