Re: AC Delco spark plugs

They are R43's no T or N that I could see!

Still for sale!

Anyone know the full application for the R43's - other than the Z28's?

BTW: I have a 'Satisfaction Guarenteed' policy with the parts I sell. If you buy them, and are not completely happy, you get your money back - including return shipping!

Re: AC Delco spark plugs

Thanks! Someone had asked if they were for BB Chevy's, I wasn't sure. It looks like they are for SB Chevy's only.

Re: AC Delco spark plugs

I have lots of 43Ns. I don't use them because they're too cold for a street car (no matter what Chevy said) https://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/imag...mlins/wink.gif Only the Covette fanatics want them because NCRS actually pulls the plug wires to see what they are. Points equals money later. https://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/imag...lins/frown.gif

Re: AC Delco spark plugs

R43N is the same heat range as the R43's. The N is for a BB because it takes the longer or extended threads. I believe 3/4". I like the R44S or the R45S for my 69 Z. They run nice and are an original AC Delco plug. S means extended tip. I bet the 44's or 45's would work good in the BB too. https://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/imag...ins/3gears.gif

Re: AC Delco spark plugs

My AC book says:

N = 3/4" (19 mm) reach, 3/8" (9.5 mm) thread length
