Re: Red Italian Muscle
Thanks Chris...I think that's Gilles' '81 car but the differences between some years are subtle..
Where is this, the Ferrari Museum?. Too bad they display it w/ Schumi's pictures...the best and the worst?. Gilles was almost more amazing to see running his SnoPro snowmachines than the cars...hard to believe he's been gone over 25 years already!. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LzCqY8Wg5So ~ Pete https://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/imag...lins/beers.gif |
Re: Red Italian Muscle
Yes, this is the Ferrari museum in Modena Italy. My son came home last night with 1500 digital pictures taken in ten days. I am trying to fish out the vehicles for posting and I'll throw in some pizza!!

Re: Red Italian Muscle
The Ferrari museum is over the top. Every where you look in that town is Ferrari. I was there last summer. I visited Lamborghini, Pagani, and Ferrari. I took over 800 pictures. http://www.dinograz.com/miscpics/ita...factories.html

Re: Red Italian Muscle
I watched a special on the Ferrari factory produced by National Geographic last night and it was absolutley amazing... they have trees and terrariums in their engine assembly rooms because it gives the optimum humidity.

Re: Red Italian Muscle
The Ferrari Museum in Modena sure looks like it has changed a lot since I was there in 83'. Wow, what a show palace. It was nice to see the pictures.
If you get a chance, the Beretta factory is also very cool to go thru. I do not think they let you go thru where they actually make the guns anymore but the showroom is worth spending time in. It is over 2000 sq. ft. worth of wall to wall guns of every shape, calibre and size. |
