Don't mean to hi-jack this thread cause i hate this crap, but can someone give me an Xcode for dummies.. ie X44 X22 etc. I would like to know what they represent.

04L for build date. What does it mean? I thought assembly dates were A , B , C , D or E. Is it an incorrectly printed repop tag?

04L is rare, but not unheard of. I'v seen Z-10 cars that were stamped like that.
