HA HA! Um no! I was refering to the picture. My car only does 13.8 at 105. That was the last run I made on it at the Grove a couple yrs ago. Didn't have a helmet or street slicks to make it stick. I know it's good for more then that though. Not bad for a 4sp and an open 308 rear if I do say so myself.

Re: HURST NOVA..??

It's a repro Pontiac Hood tach. I drilled a 4in hole in a $600 hood. That hood is care of Ed Cunneen and the COPO connection. VFN fiberglass makes them. One Awsome looking hood. Thanks for the comps on the Nova. First full on paint job I ever did in 2002. My cousin owned a body shop and I took up lessons at his house since I was able to drive. It took up almost three hours to get the peak right on the hood. What a pain. I did the rest of the taping on the car. Painted the white then the orange and cleared it. Put the interior in and got back in and drove it like I stole it.

Dixco hood tach? Awsome! I thought I used to see them in JCWhitney when I was younger? Like 10 yrs ago or more or maybe they were a knock off of the Dixco hood tach. Don't remember too long ago.

Re: HURST NOVA..??

I'm NovaJed for a reason. Not as good as most of the guys on here, but they don't have a history class in school for this. The Camaro is on hold. That car was an expensive painting experience. I had to paint that car like twice! The clear I used dried too fast and I might have to repaint it. I didn't feel like getting into it just yet. Plus I have a new project I'm geared up for. Check out the thread on It's entirely too....
