Do you Jersey guys know if Dan Rzeczkowski ever owned the Dedella and Rich Chevelle ? [/ QUOTE ] Anders, I talked to Peter Dedella about 10 years ago. He gave me a picture of the car and a copy of the window sticker. The car was a 427/M22, Lemans Blue COPO Chevelle from Jersey City. Had "Convincer II" on the fenders and Kitson Chevy on the rear quarters. Kitson was in Eatontown NJ. Pete told me the car went over the pond years ago. Do you know where it is? Kevin |

Those were the shizdiggity when I was growing up.
If a car pulled in with the ladder bars, it was tough. We freewheel towed a couple of cars to Englishtown in the 70's, they worked great. https://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/imag...s/headbang.gif |

Re: NMW Manufacturing, Inc.
I think it has an early build date out of Baltimore also. I have some Raceway News from E-town with some of the ET's it ran in SS/E. I'll try to see if I can contact Pete Dedella again. Anders send me a PM if you have any further info.

Re: NMW Manufacturing, Inc.
Anders,Danny R was the original owner of a 68 Nova called Dominator II that ran Raceway Park Englishtown NJ back then.I believe Danny R was partners on the 69 COPO Chevelle from Jersey City called Convincer II. The 68 Nova is alive and well in NJ.

A pic of Dominator II.
I have been told that Dan R. owned the Convincer II at some time. But if he was some kind of partner, then I guess he never did own it. https://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/imag...lins/dunno.gif https://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/imag...iggthumpup.gif |

Re: NMW Manufacturing, Inc.
Between cooking, entertaining and a boat ride I managed to get out and put on my new (old ) tow tabs. I don't know what day (drag day) it is, but I have always liked the look and had these on several rides. My old set were last seen on this 67. Now I need some skinnies in the front.
Thanks Tommy68 ! https://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/imag...s/headbang.gif http://i134.photobucket.com/albums/q...ingboat172.jpg http://i134.photobucket.com/albums/q...kinnies001.jpg |

I think it's time for a different car, something where these tabs would look more natural. yeah, thats it. this car is for sale now, I've had it too long. |

You just need an old Car In Tow
sticker for the back window..... https://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/imag...ns/worship.gif |

Re: NMW Manufacturing, Inc.
You don't need a new car - just some big tires on chrome reverse on the back, jack up the front with some
Cragar S/S's , put on some skinnies - paint those tow tabs orange - and a BIG Race Car in Tow decal! - - http://i158.photobucket.com/albums/t...hevy/C21-1.jpg |

[/ QUOTE ] Hey Chris, I don't mind swapping back the drachma you sent for the parts if you aren't satisfied. I am on the same wave length with you on the look, NMW had some made for your car that would be closer to the bumper and stick out towards the front more. Those universals would be more at home on a gasser without a bumper. Let me know what you want to do and if you want to send them back attached to the Chevelle.... Well that will be fine as well. My Dad keeps hinting around that if I was a "good" son, I would buy him one just like yours.... Tommy https://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/imag...ns/burnout.gif |
