Can someone tell me here or in a private PM what the known earliest date and VIN on a 69 COPO Camaro please???

Pete, my records indicate 1st prototype ZL1, 10A car(Oct 68). VIN 513787. --PNT. Black w/Gold stripes RS SS.

Leonard, I didn't know the VIN was known for the black and gold Engineering ZL-1 car. Is the other black and gold cars vin known?

The original source for that VIN was an ancient COPO Connection Newsletter.

I have a copy of the cover letter from GM Styling to the Norwood Plant Manager when the order was placed for the ZL-1 show car and is is dated March 1969. Could not be 513787.
