gas tank shows no sign of ever having a tank stiker glued to it. I find that unusual for a 69 LA car. Maybe the first cars didn't get them.

327 LM1 killer I will be selling. I figure combining it with the lighter 10 bolt rear versus the LM1's heavier 12 bolt it should leave it in the dust. https://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/imag...mlins/grin.gif

Re: Early production 69 Camaro details.
Did all motors have the vin stamped on the block over the oil filter???
|
Re: Early production 69 Camaro details.
Nope. Around Jan. of 69 they appeared at the oil filter.
|
Re: Early production 69 Camaro details.
Charlie, I echo Kevin's question.
Overspray, and initial color on the LA Underbodies - always leads to debate. Seems like there are plenty of Norwood cars to ref, but LA https://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/imag...s/confused.gif Also, was the deck lid locking componet painted, or natural? How about the door strikers? |

Orig wheels are gone but there was a set of full hubcaps in the trunk so I assume they were painted black. Floor under the car appears to be black. Floor inside the car is pretty much all blue including the floor plugs.

Nope. Around Jan. of 69 they appeared at the oil filter. [/ QUOTE ] Sam, LA stamped the VIN by the oil filter at the start of production, then around Nov on the pad, and sometime late Feb, back down by the filter. However you are correct for Norwood built cars. |
