Good stuff! https://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/imag...mlins/cool.gif

Part I
Part II

Some earlier shots too. Man, that Linda V. had it going on. Believe the audience was eating right out of her hand.

About 3:04 into the first video it looks like the Troupee/Kling {pardon my spelling} 1970 LS6 Chevelle conv. in the far lane.

Hey Verne, that certainly does look like a Z-11 in the far lane. Almost looks like it has the crossed flags painted on the doors like so many of those cars had. You know, I hear a lot of gear shifting in those videos. Obviously very few automatics! It's amazing in that video how many Gassers are yanking the front wheels during the 1-2 and even the 2-3 shift. You hardly see that anymore. A real shame!

Hard to tell, but that might be the Billy Lagana car (Oak Hill Chevy from NY. Looks maroon. There were a couple other red/maroon cars from down south that no one has pictures of though, so who knows?

Way cool Sam! Nice find. York US 30 was a great place indeed. Nothing fancy, just great racing. Had the pleasure of getting there a few times as a teenager. Only about a 30-40 minute drive from home. Always enjoyed it but never made it a priority because I never thought about it NOT being there. Kinda like drive-in theaters.

Wish I could have been there when Linda was there!
