Pure Stock Muscle Car Drag Races!!!!
For those of you in the Mid Michigan area, Sept 14th and 15th at Stanton, MI. 130+ of some of the coolest cars of the muscle car era running down the quarter mile as close to showroom condition as possible. Here is the link for the festivities Pure Stock Drags Friday is qualifying, Saturday is 2 of 3 shootout. Rob Clary with the Yellow Yenko Camero, the Simpson family with 3 cool bowties, Jimmy Johnson with his L88 Corvette, Bruno with ???? I live 20 miles from the track, I went there the first year and never missed it since, i still remember 17 cars being there and the stands empty, last year there must have bean 200 cars there with close to 150 running the 1/4 mile, great time for sure, i hope to bring the 69 hurst olds this year but i dont think i will run it as it still has the factory tires, but i will run the judge, i look forward to seeing you there Rusty, Rich

Kind of a milestone for me. First time ever, me and both my boys will all be racing at one event. Look for some amazing results. Hoping the Nova is set on kill! As well as the other cars of mine! It's been a busy weekend,but,I promise pictures tomorrow.Not very many,but I took some different cars as there were many different ones there.The wife and I had to leave after the first round runs as we had a wedding and reception to attend.
