17 ANNUAL CAR SHOW TODAY
the town i live in had it's 17th annual car show today in Amboy,IL. It is a town of 2700 people, but on this day it becomes bigger than life.
From the first few shows we have had as many as 525 cars here. As the years have gone by we have leveled off at around 425 to 450 cars. Here are some of the cars from today. |

i also would like to say we have a motorcycle show at the same time and it has a good turn out also.
we are really known for our 50/50 drawing also. it has gotten so big in the last 2 years that we now give some 100 dollar winners through the day of the show and 1 500 dollar winner, but the top prize of the 50/50 drawing that we have given away the last 2 years has been over 11,0000 dollars to a signal winner. (boy) wouldn't that make your day. |
