Just got home from the show and Metro cruise.What a great time.They sure know how to put on a show.Lots of police to keep things under control.Talked to Helen Gibb for a while.What a super nice lady.I asked her how she puts up with Dennis Cumby and she gets a big smile on her face and says "Isn't he a great person?"Of corse I said "Yes the best."Heres to you Dennis. https://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/imag...iggthumpup.gif
I didn't take to many pictures as we kinda just took in the show.Probably post them on Monday.Alot of nice cars including a Red 67 427 Impala with low low miles on it.Sorry to tease and not post until Monday but the work computer loads alot faster.Another local car show tomorrow.

Ken it did rain in the morning until about 9:30-10:00.Then the sun came out and it was really nice mid 70's and very low humidity.Great day for just watching cars go by.Sorry you didn't make it.Maybe next year.

That was my first thought but, for some reason, I thought Jim's car was Green. Guess I got it confused with his '69 Y Camaro.

Thanks for posting the pictures Kendall. I was in Carlisle for the big Corvette meet, (gotta spread the word!) so I missed it.

My Grand Rapids Autorama Chairman was there and said it was awesome. The Berger crew indeed do a great job along with the Western Michigan Camaro Club. We get the pleasure of working with them at our GR Autorama show and they are a fine group.

Helen is indeed a real pleasure and a true Ambassador for our hobby. I look forward to sitting and chatting with her at the next Vettefest. Heck...anyone who can put up with Cumby has to get some credit!

BTW; I see you have a SS 396 Nova in your sig, how about joining us for the Grand Rapids Autorama January 11-13, 2008. I run this show too and we have a blast and can always use some more Chevy Muscle!

Hi Bob,The Nova is a good 20ft car.Not a show car by any means.Give me about 5-6yrs and then it might be show worthy.Just so happens my neighbor was invited to I think the Ford estate show or something like that by you.He had a orange Mits. Eclipse with Lambo style doors and totally tricked out.He is now in the military so his dad wouldv'e brought the car.He told me about it and I said "Oh Bob Ashton?" And he gave me a look like,how do you know him.I told him it's a small world.

the blus 69 rs/z28 looks like the 1 i sold to a guy that work at the GM proto type plant in mich.
