Super Chevy Show - Maple Grove
[b] Normally we make a weekend out of Super Chevy at Maple Grove, but this
year we are going away this Saturday to next Saturday so we shot over for the Friday show. The race cars were plentiful but the show cars don't really show up until the weekend. Big block Benny won the 69 stock class with his copo and I took second in the 69 z28 class with my silver z28.It was a real nice day on Sunday a lot of show cars.

Guy, Must have been a good weekend to to own a '69. My car took Best Stock on Saturday. We enjoyed the show - you could not have asked for a better day with the weather. 3 Complaints though - had little bitty air born pieces of rubber find there way on my car's paint https://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/imag...lins/frown.gif,(floating over from the track) coming through the gate at 0800 took us 23 mins in the middle lane with all show cars making thier way to the field - way too much time to sit in these old cars at idle.... https://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/no.gif. Thanks John. I was pretty happy - pleasent surprise. A surprise to the point that I was loading my car in the trailer area and my wife calls and says - they just called your name - what should I do....LOL...it was funny.
