I just came out of Shooters' a half an hour ago and there was a guy showing off his 69 Camaro under the hood in the valet. Some Sopranos' type guy looking at it was saying " Yeh, Yeh, it's all original" and the owner chimed in, " No it's not, it's been restored". Long story short, after talking to the owner, he tells me "Pacecar" did the hoses, nice job Jeff, I didn't even know you were looking for another job.! Nice work, the hoses looked great.

I bought a pair ('67 BB) from Rick's before seeing Pacecar's hoses. The Rick's hoses were a mistake. The lower doesn't make the required 90-degree bend, no spring either. The upper is about two inches too short (!!!) and has incorrect bends at each end. Back they go. I bought Pacecar's off of eBay, hit Pay Pal, and they should get here this week.

I was a bit disappointed by the "Made in Pakistan" hoses being offered by the aftermarket venders at GM Carlisle. We just don't make anything in the USA anymore.

The hoses on our Chevelle are almost 10 years old. Pacecarjeff had better get those Chevelle hoses out soon. Made in USA...I hope. I'd hate to see a restored car being more foreign that American.

Re: Check these items out

I've made several purchases from PacecarJeff and I'm always impressed with his knowledge and quality. I just ordered a set of radiator hoses for my '69 Z28 from him. I researched all the available hoses and his are the best by far.

Does he make any other GM licensed hoses?

Re: Check these items out

I know that he makes 68 Z hoses as I just ordered them from him. I think these would most likely be standard small block hoses and not Z28 specific.
