Let's get the show started.......Left the house this morning at about 8:00a.m. for the drive to Cleveland....all in all a pretty smooth ride with good weather......Got in about 3:30 and went to register.....there weren't a lot of cars sitting around as people were checking in and leaving right away .......anyhow , here are some pic's with a lot more tomorrow.......First pic is of the Chevelle Speedo and just barely visable tach needle......speedo reads 15 mph slow.....75 mph @ 1200 rpm......Overdrives are great (along with big dia. tires and a 3.08 rear) 20 mpg
But on the drive back to the Motel I smelled gas.....when I opened the hood there was quite a big of gas on the Intake Manifold.....pulled the Air Cleaner off to see where it was coming from and found that the Float Level Sight screw had fallen out of the rear fuel bowl.....Plugged it temporarilarly until I can get another screw tomorrow

That silver Nova is sumthin' else. I normally don't like wheels larger than 15's but that car looks great.

Here are a bunch of random pic's from thruout the day today......very Hot and Humid till about 6:30 when the Downpour started...we had a few raindrops as we walked into the Restaurant and by the time we got out, the Sun came back out.....Perfect........And Charley bought Dinner.....Life is Good!

Ken,

Great stuff....if you get a second chase...take a picture of Albert`s (Alss) former Chevelle. You got close it....it`s a 69 Fathom Green 300 Deluxe Post Sean Chevelle...Baldwin Motion Clone.

Hear ya' on the 59's Bob, I'm really diggin' that yellow '59 hardtop with the green interior and obviously large diameter steel wheels with poverty caps. Old look with a new twist.

Glad to be of service to get a couple shots of it.What a nice car.
Very few pictures of cars as it was on and off raining most of the time we were there.
I did bump into Charlie enough to ask how the "Witch" was running.He said it was running good but no A/C.

I was there Ken - What a pain in the a$$!!! I looked for you, but I was not sure what you looked like and I didn't see your car either... Saturday was beautiful here, I wish the weather had held out. At least you are heading west where the weather is predicted to be better for Monday.

Went Saturday and baked in the sun with Rich (Mr. Chevy) and Steve (68L30). The showing of cars was truly spectacular. There was something there for everyone. On Sunday morning my wife and I picked a spot where the cars entered the highway leaving Cleveland and watched cars go by for 3 hours. I know there was a traffic jam leaving on the route the power tour suggested, there were a several cars that suffered heat stroke by the time they got to the highway.

Here is a picture of Rich's car (70 L78 Nova, 27K), Steve's 68 Camaro (loaded and mint!!!) and my 69 SS with 27K miles.

I ran across several "Power Tourers" along I-294 this morning around 10:00a.m. It was pouring down rain....I felt so sorry for the guy in an A.C. Cobra.....he had half a tonto cover and was dressed in full protective gear....but it was raining buckets. The others I saw...was a Sub Line Green Post Sedan GTX/Road Runner? An Orange Dart....perhaps 71-72? A Black First Gen Camaro....looked very nice. This weather just won`t let up https://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/imag...emlins/mad.gif

I thought yesterday was Rain Day.......But .......Too Bad as the Venue in Racine could have been "Very" nice if the Weather would have co-operated......No Pictures from Racine as we just got our cards punched and left....Here are some driving Pic's and Pic's from the Breakfast stop where Charley and Mark were "High Tech'ng" his Speedo.....Hopefully tomorrow will be better
