Duramax Powered Buick GN
First Video Second video Don't need to be a GN Fan, but this is pretty off the wall. Thanks for sharing Steve. https://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/imag...lins/beers.gif |
Re: Duramax Powered Buick GN
I love it!
I have a somewhat hopped up Dodge diesel and have always liked the GNs. Not sure if I would want one, but you have to admire the engineering. |

Re: Duramax Powered Buick GN
Yeah, the black smoke and terrible noise get to me also. But man, that thing sure looks wicked with that serious rubber on the rear! I'm sure we've all seen those videos of 10 or 11 second diesel trucks that weigh God only knows. It was just a matter of time before someone shoved one into a car. I think we're talking some serious potential here!

Re: Duramax Powered Buick GN
its making quite a stir on the net too. Its all over the place. Different.. for sure.

Re: Duramax Powered Buick GN
I can understand it. If you've ever had one of the newer turbo diesel pickups, they move out pretty well. Most of us have wondered what that engine would do in a lighter car. These new engines can make serious power with very few mods.

Nothing that would force me to take less than what NADA calls a GN in good condition. It has the cold air kit, upgraded Turbo, Master Power brakes, new headliner, etc. It has the original paint that's starting to fade. I had it for sale on all the sites, and I mean all, asking a firm $14K for the verifyable 83k car. Heck, it even passed California Smog! I got a lot of tire kickers, scammers, and low ballers, but no one with real money and real interest. Just a lot of guys who said they loved the GN and wanted to drive it.
