Unbelievable! The company is planning a production run of about 100
vehicles.
Sits on a Corvette C6 chassis, front styled like a 57 Chevy, side
like a 58, rear like a 59. Hence the designation "789".

This world needs to know when to say... enough. The engineers of today need to stop looking in the rear view mirror and learn how to drive thru the front.Let see some creativity come from Detroit that has the spirt we love "and" a refreshing design that won't be dead in a year or two.The cars we enjoy were lucky enough to get a redesign every two years .....now we look at the same crap for 5-10.Heck, if I want a 57,58 or 59 I'll buy one....Just don't stick all three in a blender and hit the button.... https://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/imag...ins/tongue.gif

Saw it at Barrett-Jackson Scottsdale this year. bill, this might be a stretch for them, but all I can see is that the body line that ends in the wing starts with a turn down on the door,like the 58. in 59 it starts off straight.

That's my feel too Bill.

I like the front, love the back, the side view needs a little work (looks pinched in the mid-section), but absolutely hate the wheels. Needs big-n-littles.

And yes, I like the '53 Retro-vette.

Well, it's certainly entertaining, and alot more bold styling than anything that's shown at the auto shows. If something like this can get created, then why can't GM stylists get it right with the so called 2009 Camaro.

Well It certainly is DIFFERENT! I don't think I would like to own one ! But maybe the guys designing it had some fun with whatever they were SMOKING! About the only part of it I really like is the rear shot.I really dig the 59 Impalas
