The largest ever gathering of Z16 Chevelles is planned at Vettefest November 17-18, 2007. Planned are technical displays and presentations about the father of all big block Chevys - the Z16 Chevelle!

All Z16 Chevelle owners are invited to show your Z16! Please pass this info along to Z16 owners you know.

Figured it was time for an update, since this is really coming together.

At this time, we have an incredible variety of Z16's for this Reunion. This includes a 17,000 mile unrestored original, another that is being shown by the original owner, Dave Miner's #1 Prototype along with his Z16 engine display and get this; we now have representations of ALL of the available exterior colors, (red, yellow and black) and all available interior colors.

We have extended an invitation to a prominent Z16 authority who we hope will be sharing his knowledge of these very unique cars. More on this as we lock it up.

My hat is off to Dave Miner aka mrrec for his efforts at making this Special Showcase one to remember.

OK, since we know about what's been brewing on our L78 Showcase, I figured it was time for an update on our Z16 Reunion.

I am happy to say we will have ALL THREE colors, (red, yellow and black) and a really interesting variety of real-deal documented Z16's. This includes several unrestored examples, one coming in with the original owner, several ultra low mile examples, a fully restored rolling chassis, Dave M's (aka Mrrec) #1 Engineering Pilot car and some other really cool Z16 specific stuff.

Z16's are scheduled to come in from Iowa, Texas, Alabama, Illinois, Pennsylvania, New York and North Carolina.

Since only 201 of these cars were built and many dealers never had even one on their showroom floor, it is indeed possible that we will have the largest gathering ever assembled under one roof!

We're already working on Showcase idea's for the April 5-6, 2008 show.

Think straight axles and injection!!

As always..we are open to suggestions. All three of our Showcase Features for this show came from people who are known to this site!

Just got word that yet another Original Owner will be joining us with his Z16. That makes TWO coming in with the original owner. That makes a total of 8 or 9 different Z16's scheduled to show so far.

I cant wait to hear the stories!!!

It looks like 9 cars so far! Without question, this will be the largest gathering ever of this many Z16s in one place. The history some of these owners have with their cars is INCREDIBLE! Even if you don't like the Z16 "grandpa" (as my son says) styling, you've got to love 35 year and original owners, not to mention the fact that the Z16 blazed the trail for all BB Chevelles to follow......

I'm sorry to all that, due to health, I had to cancel bringing two Z16s at the last minute. Bob has been extremely accomodating, very understanding and great to work with. I was really looking forward to it and, with all the advertising of the Z16 Reunion, feel that I've really dropped the ball.
