Re: 1967 Z-28 - $60K
Glad to hear it Mark. Don't take a dime less than 60K!
Are you back in the market for the white one or are you taking a break from the Z's during the house business? (I put a post in the wanted section for a hood BTW if you know of one.) |
Re: 1967 Z-28 - $60K
Arent the hoods just a standard flat hood? If so I have one you can have if you want come pick it up.

Re: 1967 Z-28 - $60K
Thanks Andy https://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/imag...lins/beers.gif A guy from Montreal hit the $60K buy it now this morning and he is coming this afternoon with a deposit...so, I should know the outcome later today. I don't plan on buying anything too expensive until we see what happens with the house offer we are making. It's a new home, so we are waiting on a quote on some of the modifications that we would like to see (read: 3rd car garage https://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/imag...mlins/grin.gif).
Grab the flat hood from Quick Bow-tie...he's right in your neck of the woods too! |
Re: 1967 Z-28 - $60K

Re: 1967 Z-28 - $60K
Thanks Rich! They loved the car when they came last night and couldn't believe how clean the body was. The car will be restored over the next 6 months and then will be hitting the show circuit to advertise a new restoration business that they are starting.

Damn, that was fast. The price was a steal. I wish my buddy would have stepped up.

Re: 1967 Z-28 - $60K
Thanks Mike...I wish he would have got it also, but the new owner is a very nice guy too and will spare no expense to do the car properly. I guess that was the market value of the car as I have 3 others willing to pay $60K for it. Funny what a $5K difference makes???
The new owner's bodyman came on Saturday night and couldn't believe how clean and straight the car is. He said other than finishing off the quarters and fixing a few pinholes in the trunk, there is no real bodywork to do... |
