Star of the show. Totally original 9K mile unrestored Dusenberg with great history.

I believe the 67 L88 is being auctioned on Friday evening. Can someone please post the result of that auction? Thanks in advance.

Sam/SBR:
The Duesenberg was commisioned by a German artist Rudolph Bauer, a non-objestive modernist (don't ask) employed directly by Guggenheim. It was built on one of the last remaining Duesenberg chassis' after the company went out of business. He actually had it extended to make it one of the longest Duesenbergs built. Much more but will keep it short. It sold for 2.5 mill.
The L88 was a no sale at 1.55 mill. The '71 hemi cuda convert sold at 2.2 mill.

Re: RM Auction Thursday

I always liked them but it looks like Duesenberg prices have sure changed little in 20 years! .

And that's real dough for the first L88 production '67 car! .

I've asked this before but whatever happened to Don Yenko's '66 L88 car? .
Yes '66...it was a roadster and was white I think? .
I know it's preproduction as an RPO but remember reading about it and seem to recall it wasn't the only one either?! .

Don't know about Don's, but Penske's L88 is headed to SCR10...as well as 5 other rare 'Vettes from NY... https://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/imag...iggthumpup.gif
