Re: Looking for a nice Cruise night car...
Would also consider a nice '67 Camaro SS350 or 396!

Re: Looking for a nice Cruise night car...
Does a day go by that you aren't looking for something or other?? https://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/imag...mlins/grin.gif Geez, how do you keep up with yourself? https://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/imag...ns/naughty.gif

Re: Looking for a nice Cruise night car...
You sound like my wife Marlin https://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/imag...mlins/haha.gif Yeah, I am always looking for something neat and have been like that since I was 16 years old. I just secured a new job yesterday, so I feel like celebrating by buying a car or two https://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/imag...ins/tongue.gif I have been holding off on buying anything (other than my '67 Z) until I got the job situation settled.

Re: Looking for a nice Cruise night car...
Hmmm.... I'm thinking of looking for a new job soon... not a bad idea of car reward https://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/imag...ns/naughty.gif (I'd take Joe's '67Z!!)

Re: Looking for a nice Cruise night car...
Hey, I became a professional babysitter for my grandkids, does that count? https://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/imag...mlins/hmmm.gif I will try to get that passed through the boss. https://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/imag...emlins/eek.gif

Re: Looking for a nice Cruise night car...
Sure it does Sam! Tell the wife that I said it's OK.
|
Re: Looking for a nice Cruise night car...
Just remember Marlin, if you get a car, she gets diamonds! There's no free lunch!
|
Re: Looking for a nice Cruise night car...
Diamonds? Damn Mark how did you get off so cheap?
Mine told me that the next car is for her and she wants a XK120. If I am going to get a sports car it will have the most powerful engine available. XK120 SE OTS.... ouch... Pretty soon... if I ain't got a Yenko or ZL1 in my future, I'm getting the short end of the stick! https://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/no.gif |
Re: Looking for a nice Cruise night car...
You see, you should have married a girl that has no interest in cars https://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/imag...mlins/grin.gif My wife has a Honda Oddysey and is completely happy. However she wears diamonds when going to park with the kids https://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/imag...ins/tongue.gif

Re: Looking for a nice Cruise night car...

Re: Looking for a nice Cruise night car...
Thanks Ron https://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/imag...lins/beers.gif 18 months without a "real" job gets kinda boring! I can't wait to get started on Monday.

Re: Looking for a nice Cruise night car...
Hey Mark, Ken from AZ, now WA here, why don't you take this 57 T-Bird off my hands
ken |
Re: Looking for a nice Cruise night car...
Hi Ken! I read that you had moved up to WA. Send me a few pics and details on the T-bird. I've never owned one, but always thought they were pretty cool! Take care, Mark

Re: Looking for a nice Cruise night car...
Mark!
Are you still looking for a Pacer?? |
Re: Looking for a nice Cruise night car...
Hi Tony,
Yes! If you know of one, email me the details please! |
Re: Looking for a nice Cruise night car...
Mark,,, I didnt know you liked AMC products that much. I saw a real nice Pacer the other day.......Bill S
|
Re: Looking for a nice Cruise night car...
Bill, I'd prefer a Gremlin...but only if it had the Levi's interior https://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/imag...ins/tongue.gif
|
Re: Looking for a nice Cruise night car...
------Oh,,,, Now you are talking "really rare"......Bill S
|
Re: Looking for a nice Cruise night car...
Mark...Just grab a big ole chunk of cash and come drive this 68 Z home. Take the 65 Panhead for a spin while you are here!
|
Re: Looking for a nice Cruise night car...
Tempting Tony, but the "big ole chuck of cash" part is the problem https://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/imag...ns/naughty.gif I'll send you some pics of another '68 Z that I have been looking at - frame off, original drivetrain, factory docs, Corvette Bronze for $60K.
One day you are going to have a weak moment and sell me that Pan...then a nice black and white paint job and I'd have my Sunday coffe ride https://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/imag...mlins/grin.gif |
Re: Looking for a nice Cruise night car...
Mark....Black and White works for me too! Tony, don't sell the pan. https://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/imag...mlins/flag.gif

Re: Looking for a nice Cruise night car...
Looks good Hammer! and thanks for the help in prying the panhead from Tony https://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/imag...s/confused.gif
Tony, sell the pan https://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/imag...mlins/grin.gif |
Re: Looking for a nice Cruise night car...
That Pan has become pretty popular. My brother was up here from Florida over the Holiday. He wants it. A guy from Wisconsin bought my 47 Knuckle 2 weeks ago. He wants it. The Harley dealer in Kenosha wants it. A friend of 20 years wants it. Where were all these guys when I was thinking about selling it?
|
Re: Looking for a nice Cruise night car...
Hey, I've been bugging you for 2 years to sell me that bike! So what if he's your brother or friend of 20 years https://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/imag...mlins/haha.gif Looks like the line for that one is getting too long now...I'll stop bugging you https://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/imag...lins/frown.gif Anybody know of a nice '65 Pan for sale? Must be stock with no mods - any color OK - I'll just paint it black and white anyway https://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/imag...iggthumpup.gif

Re: Looking for a nice Cruise night car...
Mark
What about a 1970 Challenger RT convertible, purple, original engine, rotissere about 1000-1500 miles ago. Just got this and will let it go for a reasonable price given what these big block Mopar convertibles have been selling for. call Chip at 770-365-1872 |
Re: Looking for a nice Cruise night car...
Thanks Chip...but I want to stick with GM cars.
