How about this 5000 mile 69 Z28?

That is a real 1969 Camaro Z28 that entered the old yard in 1969 or 1970 with just over 5000 original miles on it after the driver hit a bridge abutment at high speed.

If the tags for the '69 were still there when they got it in '94, it could be 'alive' again already? .

Check out the cool neon sign these guys have made from the sectioned side of a '62 Chevy! .

I was thinking that tire might complete somebody's set of gennies or make a nice spare? Not the square wheel though.

Damn, that must have been a heck of a crash. We lost a lot of cars and a lot of car guys from accidents like this. When I was a kid about to get my license, the guy who taught me how to wrench on cars walked me around a junkyard and showed me cars like this. He didn't say a word. He's no longer with us but his wisdom lives on.

You know you are on a real enthusiast site when guys can find some good and probably pricey parts to salvage off a 37 year old totaled heap....

Colin, physics isn't just a good idea, it's the LAW. https://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/imag...ns/scholar.gif
I saw 4 guys in a Mustang get killed when they were going 80 to 90 mph on a wet freeway and spun out, slamming ass-end first into a bridge abbutment. They were trying to outrun the Detroit police at the time.
They died trying. https://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/imag...ins/tongue.gif
Pre '69 Mustangs had drop-in gastanks in the trunk, making any king of rear end collision a potential fireball. https://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/imag...ns/shocked.gif
Most horrific thing I've ever seen in my life. https://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/imag...emlins/eek.gif
