US Nats. was moved to Indy, I think in 1963. I would say it's 58,59,maybe 60. https://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/imag...lins/beers.gif

Re: Old School
Simply friggin' unbelievable footage....WOW!!! .
I've only watched the first one and there's a few more there, don't miss them! That rear engine Merlin powered piece or whatever it is looks like an early Art Arfon's Monster...it'd be a good match against Charlie's 55! . https://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/imag...ins/3gears.gif ~ Pete |

Kim,
I've never seen anything quite like that. It took me all the way back to 1959. So very, very special. Thank you! Verne |

Re: Old School
The Jim Nelson/Dode Martin Dragmaster was recently restored by Dode Martin and featured in the current Rodder's Journal WITH a restored green Chrysler station wagon. All three parts of the film are priceless! Lots of famous cars in there too. I wonder if that '59 El Camino that went to the winners was 348 3x2 powered?
