Re: E-bay again
Hey Bill,
Terry's been pretty busy trying to sell what I already found for him, so no, it's been quiet from him lately.LOL I did mention to him about the gold LS6 being up on Ebay. He wants me to keep him posted on what happens. Rick |
Re: E-bay again
...does anyone know this car?
http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/031951451...1QQcmdZViewItem ..... ...it said nothing about a clone??? https://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/imag...lins/dunno.gif |

Re: E-bay again
-------In no uncertain words, Mike!!! I dont know where the blame lies as the car sold at auction at Carlisle (I think) and Im not even sure if the guy I sold it to took it there or if he sold it prior to that.
-------In any event this guys E-bay profile doesnt give one the warm and fuzzies.......Bill S |
Re: E-bay again
Okay...being that I'm a bit slow...isn't this the Chevelle that you sold at BJ in '05, Bill? https://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/imag...lins/dunno.gif https://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/imag...ins/tongue.gif

Re: E-bay again
-------You are correct, sir!!! The car that had the original stamped block with it ,,,not in it. The block with the 12 inch crack down thru the cam tunnel on the left side!!!........Bill S

Re: E-bay again
John
This Ebay LS-6 Convert. is not a Factory LS-6 Convert. The VIN# is just too early to even be considered authentic. Mid September 1969 at the Van Nuys Plant...I don't think so. Granted the seller never states it's real or documented. But his placing of "Original and matching Exterior" followed by a period is suspiciously placed in the first line of the description, which could give the illusion it's a Factory LS-6,but it's not, regardless of what his drivetrain components are stamped. Winning bid $116,775.00 on Vin #L101956 to dadonster. Very Nice looking car though.. |
Re: E-bay again
Am I missing something? Mid September 1969 VIN with a March 28, 1970 (T0328CRV) engine stamp???

The block with the 12 inch crack down thru the cam tunnel on the left side [/ QUOTE ] Nothing a little JB Weld can't fix! https://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/imag...s/rolleyes.gif Another example of a https://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/bs.gif story tainting an otherwise beautiful, highly desirable, and perfectly saleable car https://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/imag...lins/frown.gif |
