Re: 1969 Z-28 Numbers Matching
Thanks Sam, Moving on to another 69Z. Going to be posting pictures as soon as I can figure out how to do it here. Need to take some new pics tonight.

Re: 1969 Z-28 Numbers Matching
Alan,
No I won't sell any more Z's! The car turned out great, good luck on the sale. It was a strong running car in '91 when I bought it. It ran like a stock car on the highway! At least I got to drive it, no trailer queen then! Quite a bit of rattle can black under the hood on that one, you did a great job on the restoration. Mark |

Re: 1969 Z-28 Numbers Matching
Are those repro T-3 Headlights? Look different than any I have seen.
|
Re: 1969 Z-28 Numbers Matching
Oranglicious.
|
Re: 1969 Z-28 Numbers Matching
Should have the vertical lines within the T-3 triangle. Are they missing or am I just not seeing them.
|
Re: 1969 Z-28 Numbers Matching
That is one bad a$$ "Z".

Should have verticle lines in the triangle and Sealed Beam is curved along the bottom of the light as well. I believe the one in the Z are the 55-57 T-3's. The car is sharp. WOW! Re: 1969 Z-28 Numbers Matching
Thanks to Bruce for helping me with the pictures, and to all for the kind comments! You are correct, they are repro T-3's. You caught me!!!!! https://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/imag...ns/naughty.gif
Now I just need to find a new home for this Pumpkin. |

Beautiful car. Reminds me of my former Z/28 except for the interior.
I'll be the first, your cowl induction seal is inverted/inside out. https://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/imag...mlins/cool.gif |

I will admit that it took me a few minutes to figure that one out as well... there are no installation instructions with the seal, once you figure it out... the light goes off... Ding ding ding ... We have a winner!!! |
Re: 1969 Z-28 Numbers Matching
Thanks, I did not realize this and have had the car done for a few years. I just thought the repop stuff was way different, I guess it really is like this! https://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/imag...lins/dunno.gif
